3D realistic hand

First project on human skin, I really liked working on the micro details pass using XYZ map projections on Substance as well as the big sculpt pass on Zbursh.
I learned a lot about the pipe and the dispersion of details in the different maps: primary secondary tertiary.
I took the model on my own hand with a pre scan for the position I then matched the mode with the refs. For the part of the colo I took crosspolyraise photos that I unfolded on photoshop then projected on substance. Finally I assembled all the maps in maya and rendered the whole thing in renderman with natural lighting.
